Alanis Morisette!!

As a Christmas gift, Sarah got me/us tickets to the upcoming Alanis Morisette concert in Portland. And the day of the concert finally came!! Alanis was the first concert I ever went to back when I was in high school, and she is just as marvelous as she was back then. It was such a fun night - thank you Sarah!

River Girls Reunion in Madison

This year's river girls reunion was in Madison, WI! Elly was kind enough to let us all stay with her, and she and Anna were our very gracious tour guides around their amazing city. We explored neighborhoods, walked around the University of Wisconsin, visited the capital building, and paddle boarded on Lake Monona. One night we even got to have dinner with others from the river trip who live in Madison! We also played bocce ball, went to a surprising concert (Anna's son, Ryan, is in a death metal band(!) called Monolith), and just hung out, chatted, and laughed a lot. It was beyond wonderful to be together again, and I can't wait for our next reunion!
