We celebrated David with some pool time at Rainier Golf and Country Club and then back home for grilled steaks and dessert. Happy Birthday David!

 

11th Annual Family Beach Trip: Seaside

We were back at Seaside for another lovely family beach trip. Damian came for some of the trip and Grandma Connie came for the tail end, although unfortunately we had already taken our joint family photo before she arrived. It was a pretty relaxed week at the beach without many extra outings. We did make it into town for ice cream on many occasions and the kids enjoyed the arcade, tilt-a-whirl, and mini golf, but most of our time was spend on the beach or playing lawn games. It sure is fun to see the cousins grow up together and enjoy each other...most of the time. #cousinland

Washington Rush Cup

Parker's soccer team dominated in game play at the Washington Rush Cup in Burlington, but the championship game ended in a draw. Although Parker buried his penalty kick, the team lost in the end and had to settle for second place medals. They worked their tails off!

A Week in Bend

In addition to the usual Bend experiences, we also visited Crater Lake. Conway did a report on Crater Lake National Park in third grade, so it was fun for him to be our little tour guide. We took in the views from the rim and then hiked down to the water and ever went for a swim in the beautiful and refreshing water.
