When Parker Attempts American Ninja Warrior Feats

Parker loves to climb on anything and everything, but even the best Ninja Warriors fall sometimes. This time he fell off a goal post and his head hit a broken piece that was lying on the ground. He was worried about stitches, but the doctor did this really cool thing she called a "hair tie". She basically grabbed the hair on either side of the laceration to pull it closed, twisted the hair into a couple of knots, and then added a ton of glue. We were heading to Seabrook couple days later so in anticipation of hot-tubbing and swimming we picked up a swim cap to keep the glue from dissolving too soon. It's a pretty good look, I think.

7th Annual Family Beach Trip: Long Beach

Yay for family beach trips!! This year we went back to the exact same house as last year and even added more guests. Grandma Connie, Great Grandma Lois, and Maisie the English Bulldog joined us for their inaugural experiences with the beach trip that is often referred to as cousinland. There was more beach time, more kite flying, more bike rides, more bloody marys in the hot tub, more cookie making with Aunt Elly, and a lot more people in tanks. (David decided to make this a #weekoftanks for himself and anyone who was willing to join him.) It was another week to remember. And here are the pics...

She Said Yes!

Yep, Damian convinced Elly to officially become a member of the Jackson family and we are all OVER THE MOON with excitement for them...and us! We are so lucky to have this beautiful person in our lives. Congrats to the lovebirds!
