Hotdogs, Popcorn, and Dippin' Dots
David and I decided to take Parker and Conway with us to a Seattle Sounders soccer game and here are my takeaways...
- They both definitely did a much better job of sitting and watching the game than they did last time.
- They were still more interested in the snacks (hotdogs, popcorn, dippin' dots) than the actual game.
- Parker would still rather watch the game on the jumbo screen than the live play in front of him on the field. (See above picture)
- I'm glad we took them, but this will probably be the one and only game they attend this year. Going less often will make each experience even more special for them, right? 😉😊

Spring Break in Scottsdale
For spring break this year we decided that the cost of a trip to Hawaii combined with the thought of being locked in an airplane with Monroe for 6 hours each way just didn't sound appealing. Thankfully, we had friends who were on board with this line of thought and so the Hueys, the Josephs, and us went to Scottsdale, Arizona for spring break this year. We got the warmth and the pool for a smaller price tag and a shorter flight. Obviously we weren't on the beach, but the AirBnB we rented together had a pool and a putting green in the backyard. So for a good portion of the trip the adults were able to relax while the kids played together. (a.k.a WIN!) I was actually able to finish one and a half books. This may seem small, but in my current life that is the definition of a successful vacation. And here are a few of the photos...
