5th Annual Family Beach Trip: Moclips

Our 5th annual Johnson-Totten family beach trip took us back to Moclips, Washington. We were right on the beach with just a little dune to walk over in order to get busy playing on the beach. We also took advantage of the relatively good weather (dry and warm if not actually hot) with walks on the beach, bike/scooter rides, hot-tubbing, and a trip to Seabrook for pizza and ice cream. This trip has become such a gloriously relaxing tradition that I hope continues forever and it's so fun to watch these cousins' relationships grow and change over time.

Hilton Head, South Carolina

David participated in the Rivera Brothers Invitational golf tournament in Hilton Head, South Carolina with some friends and although we opted not to take Monroe on the cross-country flight I did decide to tag along with the two bigger boys. While David was playing golf each day, Parker, Conway, and I got to goof off together. Monroe stayed in Camas and spent time with his grandparents and while we were definitely excited to see Monroe when we returned, it was such a wonderful experience for me to be able to participate in activities with the big boys without constantly tending to the needs of a one year old. Check out the good times!

{So long, South Carolina}

And Monroe had lots of fun back in Camas with his grandparents!
