Bath Time

Conway has started actually enjoying bath time the last couple of weeks. Before that he tolerated it, but was pretty tense and basically looked like he just wanted it to end. Now, though, he splashes and smiles and seems to be having a great time.

 

Parker can't be left out of the bath time fun so while Conway gets a bath, Parker gives his cars a bath. Notice the "clean" cars all lined up and ready to be dried off.

 

A Weekend Filled With Family

 

We got to see lots of family this past weekend!

 

 First was a visit to the Totten house. Parker got to play with cousin Anjali and Grandpa Terry while Conway got lots of cuddles from Grandma Dianna and Aunt Kelly.

 

 

 

 

Then it was off to the Johnson house to die Easter eggs. As always, the award for most able to stay focused on the activity went to Philip. Samantha and Parker did their best to explore the materials, though, which mostly meant making a mess.

 

 

And then for the real reason for the trip to Camas - Samantha's 2nd birthday party!! It was a Minnie Mouse theme which meant that everyone got to wear mouse ears. Grandpa Bob even gave in and put a pair on when Philip told him he had to in order to have a cupcake.

Okay, so he may not be ALL smiles, but when Conway lays one of these grins on you it sure does make you forget everything else.

Food Fight?

I'm sorry, Parker, but this has to be documented with the hope that we will someday both be laughing at it. Clearly neither of us are laughing at it now. You can see the exasperated look on Parker's face and the tears in his eyes. I have a similar expression on mine. This is what Parker decided to do when he was suppose to be finishing his lunch while I put Conway down for a nap. We'll laugh at this someday, right? :-) At least it made Olive's day.

Parker and Conway's Grandma Connie and Great Grandma Lois came to visit and help out during David's first trip out of town since Conway's birth. Parker loved getting rowdy with his Grandmas, but Conway is more of a cuddler.
